Betrayal, My topic for the book i'm reading.
I have no idea where where these guys are coming from but in my mind I'm viewing it as they have used each others trust. They are now two guys who are fighting and if they don't both start giving they will end up betraying each other and come out with one on top or with nothing. The reason I view it this way is because you can always be thinking that someone trusts you or you can trust them, then they will just use that trust causing the feeling and acting of betrayal.

Songs about betrayal but don't have a clear meaning will get the paragraphs up soon.

''Pray now and then for a man who, like Satan, believes himself for an instant equal to God, but who realized in all humility that supreme power and wisdom are in the hands of God alone”
(440-441)

My view on this quote is that the Devil has betrayed gods words in saying that he has equal power which he doesn't have even close to his power.

“Then his eyes lighted up with hatred as he thought of the three men who had caused him so long and wretched captivity. He renewed against Danglars, Fernand, and Villefort the oath of implacable vengeance he had made in his dungeon” (249).

The Count has gotten revenge on the guyys who had caused him pain and suffering. These men had betrayed him because of there greedy bodys.
